American Revolution was started based on the oppression of the British merchants to gain more profit. French Revolution had occurred based on the governments’ apathy towards the suffering of the lower income people. The main reason for the rebellion in the society is the unfair economic disparity and exploitation of the workers to benefit a few members in the society. The same is observed in the Haitian revolution. It started as a movement that became a symbol for freedom across the world. The main proponent who was instrumental for this development was Toussaint Louverture. Toussaint Louverture had started the Haitian revolution as a way of rebelling against the oppressive French forces.
These all have one thing in common. Oppressive government exploitation of the lower income laborers had caused the upheaval. The Haitian nation had also faced its share of issues in dealing with these factors. Toussaint Louverture was a hero, and he fought even though the odds were against his favor. He was able to inspire people to fight for freedom and liberty. He was instrumental in bringing change to the communities and also instilled in the minds of the people the need to fight against oppression. In the 19th century, African Americans used his legacy as a way to promote civil liberties in the nation.
To conclude, all rebellion start when a majority of the people are exploited for the capital gains of the owners. There is an innate owner slave struggle and economic disparity that are not considered in this system.
