Plans for Improvement & their results: There are a number of ways to deal with this problem. The main issue that I am facing is the vague boundaries of my job description and doing work which is way beyond my scope. To deal with this, I had decided to have a heart-to-heart with my boss and finally settle on some boundaries. I was able to make my boss understand my problem and now I have better job duties assigned to me and that reach a certain extent. This has significantly reduced my stress level as now I could concentrate on only the work related to my job. The other issue that I was facing was that of time management. For this, I had to develop effective time management by prioritizing my tasks and balancing my professional and personal life. I had to say “no” to things that were not central to my career and my job. To manage my time effectively, I have bought my own tablet computer to help out with my tasks and now I can send emails, receive calls, send messages and make presentations and documents on the go. This has positively affected my time management skills.
