The interview with the manager was about the information architecture and lesser about the navigation architecture. The information architecture revealed that the company’s sole aim was to make sales for the product. They had tried to ensure maximum productivity within the space provided. The manager revealed about the ways in which there were efforts to direct the users to connect with the content.
The users revealed that the site provided then with an ease in navigation, and in general, there was positive reviews. The price comparison was esp. welcomed in the group.
Personal observation revealed that there were a lot of efforts taken by to connect the navigation and the information architecture. However, there were a lot of efforts to make sales for everything and this leads to dilution of the impact.
Manager said that the company tries to address the needs of the consumers by maintaining consumer past data and provide recommendation for the same. The forms are designed to ensure that the people are able to easily find out what they are looking in the product.
The user interview revealed that the people in general were able to find out wide range of the products easily and were able to identify their past purchases while logging into the user account.
