As the workforce is diverse in nature, so it can be stated that some of the workers might feel under confident as they are not trained well as compared to other professional and trained employees. The difference in culture is based on different dimensions like power distance, masculinity, individualism and uncertainty avoidance etc. For example, the management is like a resourceful democrat for a western employee but a benevolent father for a Chinese employee. A two-way communication to bottom-up input in the decision making would motivate the western employee but the Chinese employee would be motivated when he is supervised. The employers try their level best to make them aware of the on-going planning of the organization but fail as the workers are unable to interpret the real meaning out of it. The diverse workforce may include an experienced and young fresher employee which would limit their communication due to differences in opinion. This might demotivate one another and disrupt the organizational performance.
