The case study method is more exciting as against the normal theoretical or textbook method which can be boring. Hence the case studies form a stimulating environment which can promote learning. This is surprisingly very much similar to the learning through games method which is provided in classrooms. If children are made to learn the alphabet, they will find it boring but if made to learn through a poem, or a game that involves the alphabets, then they will do it with much eagerness.
1. Simulation Methods
Simulation methods are a way of teaching that try to enact a scenario in order to give a more hands-on learning experience for the managers. They are widely used in organizations to give managers a feel of situations they have not really interacted with in real life. Hence these methods go a long way in enabling managers to equip themselves with the knowledge they will need when they are faced with the actual situations. Due to the wide prevalence and practice of this method, it is important that we shed light on the various advantages and disadvantages of this method.
