When I thought I have had enough of the rudeness of the so-called educated society, I decided to head for a shelter home situated 15 minutes away from the park. I was surprised to find out that only an hour had passed and life already seemed so cruel and disappointing to me. When I entered the shelter, it was around 10:30 and the shelter looked like a whole different world from the one I had seen outside. Here the homeless were together, talking, eating and (I dare say) smiling. I immediately felt more comfortable at the shelter because I knew that I won’t be stared, laughed, snared, or shouted at. The servers at the shelter were very hospitable and very welcoming, although it was pretty obvious that recently not much donations had come in. The homeless people there were surprisingly more accepting than the soi-disant educated society.
