Various organizations have been formed to regulate the trade on international level. Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is the agreement of contract for business purposes between two or more nations and by this these nations give partners preferential access in the markets of the countries to do business. The main aim of these agreements is to maximize benefits of trade for all Australians with the help of unilateral, bilateral and multilateral approaches in trade agreements. Australia has FTA with New Zealand named as ANZCERTA from 1 January 1983. The FTA in Australia covers various areas like trade in goods and services, recognition of standards for trade, rules and regulations for customs, intellectual property rights. These are protected and are rules for investment in foreign countries. In 2005, Australia signed free trade agreement with USA named as The Australia-United States Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA). Australia is having seven free trade agreements at present. These are also known as living agreements as they focus on periodic reviews and continuous discussions between members of the agreement (Trebilcock, 2005). So that whenever a need for some change arises for improving trade relations between nations, quick decisions can be taken by concerned parties which will improve trade practices in both countries.

The Australia-Korea free trade agreement was formed on 8 April 2014 by the minister of trade and investments of Australia and Korea. In 2008, Australian government decided to participate in Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP).The aim of TPP is to form international trade relations based on ideas of 21st century trade practices of high quality between participant countries which will increase economic integration and individual growth of the countries with the total growth of Asia-Pacific region.
