The sector is primarily known for the processing of goat and sheep leather positioning it to be second within the entire Europe after the nation of Italy. In today’s time, 13 industrial zones of leather are present within Turkey. These zones utilizes modern technology for production of products with highest possible quality. Turkey is positioned to fourth from second in the production of leather after Italy as discussed earlier, China and India are the largest leather producers (Ramchandani and Coste-Maniere, 2015). Apart from this, Turkey is the global leader in fur production with the capacity of processing over 80 million units annually.
